Many thanks for a terrific stay - the apartment is spacious, well appointed and sparkling clean.  Location is superb for both walking and driving.  We loved the walk up to the castle and along to the town. Your info was very helpful.  We look forward to our return. March 2009  Carol and Robin Reid - London, Ontario, Canada.

We really appreciated TebaŽs amazing position this week. Whichever direction you go in there is more to see. We particularly enjoyed our trip to El Burgo via Seranto - stunning scenery and a lovely walk along the river from El Burgo. However the walk around the lakes and Dams are great too. We were very comfortable in the apartment and it was great to get back to after our days out.        November 2008  Gill and Geoff Haigh - UK

Dear Lindsay, Mark and Family - Thanks for all your help. We had a great time here. Your house is beautiful, a fantastic place to spend a few weeks.  We will definately recommend it to our friends.  It was great just sitting on the balcony at breakfast and in the evening taking in the amazing views.   We would recommend a visit to Ronda (old) town plus a trip to the Lakes.  The restaurant El Kiosko is a great place for lunch. Swimming in the Lakes is bliss. If we come again, I think weŽd spend more than one week and try some cycling.  We will miss this place.  Wishing you all many happy years here.  September 2008 Stuart and Tracy Patterson - Northern Ireland

The La Calera apartments have been a complete blessing. The pictures on the website do not do justice to the incredible, beautiful views from atop of the house.  One word to describe it: Inspiring.  Lindsay has been outstanding in her guidance of where to go and what to visit.  The Comers have been accommodating to the full.  They are wonderful hosts.  The panoramic view, the two gazebos, the patio doors are without a doubt: MAGNIFICENT. Way to go Comers!  June 2008 Otto and Jen Letamendi - Chigago

A perfect base for our holiday in Andalucia.  Excellent apartment, amazing views.  We have visited Ronda, Seville, Cordoba, Granada and Gibralter.  Had delicous food at Molino de las Pilas.  May 2008 Pam and Noel - Sydney, Australia

Really relaxing week.  Just what we wanted, time has whizzed past.  There canŽt be a better place for a view.  WeŽve taken a keen interest in the comings and goings of the sheep and goat herds.  Loads of  tracks for running and cycling (will bring the bikes next time!)  The village is closer and larger than we expected.  The locals were welcoming and chatty (although there are a few eccentrics!)  Mark and Lindsay made us very welcome, the apartment is first rate, clean and new.  Think weŽll be back.  Thanks for everything.           August 2007 Tim and Lynne - UK

To the Good Lady Lindsay and Sir Mark of Teba!  By the grace of our Lord,  they played most gracious hosts to the Bruce Royal Guard (40 Bowmen of St Sebastian) who were sent to Spain to commemorate the Battle of Teba 1330, and honour the King's most loyal knight and great friend, the Good Sir James Douglas.  We thank you for your warm and most generous hospitality and hope that our new found friendship will flourish in the years to come.   September 2007 The 40 Bowmen - Renton, Scotland

Dear Lindsay and Mark,  All our family enjoyed staying in your wonderful place with fantastic views and surroundings.  Unfortunately a week spent here in Teba was too short to see everything around.  Alot of success in your business!  It is really a place to recommend to friends!  August 2007 Rimvydas and Vilma - Lithuania

Lindsay and Mark Thank you for the wonderful accommodation!  Our trip was perfect and greatly enhanced by meeting you and your children.  We look forward to visiting Spain again and staying at La Calera.   August 2007 Joe and Dana - Oregon USA

Thanks for making us feel so welcome.   We had a really relaxing time here and don't want to go.  We'd recommend a day at Guadalhorce Lakes (pedaloes etc) it's beautiful.  Had some lovely food at La Mariposa and great tapas at Bar 120 (very cheap also!)  Hope to come back again one day!  Hannah and Paul - Cheshire

Thank you for a lovely holiday - we feel recharged and chilled!  We would recommend a trip to the Lakes - very peaceful and relaxing - it's stunning.  We enjoyed some great food at La Mariposa and Bar Solea.  What we really enjoyed was sitting on the balcony in the evening, admiring the view with a couple of chilled beers.  Enjoy!  August 2007 Charlotte and Robert - Weymouth, Dorset

Have had a wonderful 2 weeks here.  Fabulous views.  Days out to El Torcal, Iznajar, Zahara, Olvera, Grazalema and Ronda.  If you like a bit of bird-watching, then try Fuente de Piedra for the flamingoes.  Other birds to look out for here are housemartins, swallow, swift, goldfinch, greenfinch, chough, hoopoe, bee-eater, buzzard, griffon vulture, siskin, iberian redstart and more. A great area - we shall miss it.  June 2007 Stuart and Eileen - Driffield E. Yorks

We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks at La Calera and  we were able to see all the cultural delights of Andalucia as well as the Natural Parks and lakes around Teba.  The region has so much to offer that we will be back next year to broaden our knowledge of the area.  Mark and Lindsay were so helpful with information, directions and recommendations to make our holiday a really memorable experience.   We could easily reach Seville, Cordoba, Granada and Gibraltar, and also enjoy quieter days exploring the Natural Parks, Ardales with its lakes and Grazalema with its pine and cork oak forests, flora, animal and bird life.  June 2009 -  Sue & Julian Turner.

Lovely place and hosts.  Despite the rain we enjoyed Ronda twice and not to be missed Patricia's Pastries in the town's pedestrian street and Buenos Aires Bar for churros and chocolate.  Antequera is a lovely town too.  Went to El Chorro and Laguna de Fuente de Piedra.  Enjoyed food at Bar Solea and Casa Ana.  Hope to come back.  February 2010 Chantale and Martin Saiz - Colchester.

We've done a fair bit of travelling over the years, stayed in some great places and alas, some not so great.  Our stay at La Calera has been first class from day one.  First and foremost, you have made us feel like part of your family, rather than 'tourists'.  Secondly, the apartment and the sensational view from our balcony.  We'll really miss looking out at the beautiful valley, lakes and mountains beyond.   The village of Teba offered up, suited us to a T, we really enjoyed the scenic yet brief walk into town to buy some of the incredibly cheap wine - we'll miss that too.   Mark and Lindsay, your vision in choosing such a great location and tailoring it to your guests needs will pay huge dividends for you in the future.  The BMW we rented suited our needs perfectly and the road directions you gave us were spot on to say the least.  Thank you, thank you, thank you.  We will definately be back and next time we'll bring some riding friends.   Be well.  April 2010 Terry and Judy Smith - Meaford, Ontario, Canada

Mark and Lindsay, Thank you so much for making us feel very welcome at La Calera.  It has felt like we were staying with friends.  We have enjoyed everything about our holiday, the bike, the sighseeing, the stunning views and the peace and quiet - just what we needed. You couldn't have been more helpful.  We will recommend you to all our friends.  Please also pass on our thanks to your friend Lee for all his help.  Hopefully see you next year.  April '10 Sally and Alan Barber - Stockport
